Terms of Use

The Site provides general information about Hero IT, its services, contact options, and related content. The Site is intended for lawful informational and business use.

Use of the Site, submitting a contact form, requesting a quote, or communicating with us through the Site does not by itself create a client, contractor, advisory, fiduciary, managed services, or other formal service relationship.

Any paid services, subscriptions, support, consulting, implementation, hosting, or managed services provided by Hero IT are governed by separate written agreements, proposals, statements of work, order forms, or invoices accepted by the parties. If there is a conflict between those documents and these Terms of Use, the separate service agreement will control.

We try to keep the Site current, but we do not guarantee that the Site is complete, accurate, error-free, or up to date at all times. Content on the Site is for general information only and may change without notice.

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use.

You agree not to:

The Site may use or link to third-party services, software, content, or websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

If you send us information through the Site, including through contact forms, quote requests, uploads, messages, or feedback:

• you represent that you have the right to provide that information
• you agree not to submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, defamatory, or malicious material
• you grant us the right to use the submission as reasonably necessary to respond to you, evaluate your request, provide services, or improve our business processes

You should not submit highly sensitive personal information through general website forms unless specifically requested and transmitted through an approved secure method.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hero IT and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs arising from:

• your violation of these Terms of Use
• your infringement of any person's rights
• your submissions or communications through the Site

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which form part of your overall relationship with us regarding Site use.

We may update the Site and these Terms of Use at any time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta, without regard to conflict of law rules.

You agree that any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms of Use will be brought exclusively before the courts located in Alberta, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
