Our summer internship program gives post-secondary students in Calgary practical, hands-on experience working with real business clients. You won’t be watching from the sidelines—you’ll be solving real tickets, building real documentation, and shadowing engineers on real projects. Every intern gets a dedicated mentor who meets with you weekly to make sure you’re learning, not just working.
The Role
What you'll do
Handle Tier 1 support tickets for real Calgary businesses under mentorship
Document processes and build knowledge base articles the team actually uses
Shadow senior engineers on client site visits, network installations, and phone deployments
Assist with device setup, imaging, and hardware inventory for client rollouts
Present a capstone project to the team at the end of the summer showcasing what you built or improved

What you'll learn
How a managed service provider operates day-to-day across multiple clients and industries
Microsoft 365 administration including user management, Exchange, and Teams
Basic networking fundamentals—IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting in real office environments
Professional client communication—how to explain technical problems to non-technical business owners
Time management and ticket prioritization when multiple clients need help at the same time
Requirements
Who can apply
Currently enrolled in an IT, computer science, or related program at a Calgary post-secondary institution (SAIT, U of C, MRU, or Bow Valley College)
Available to work in Calgary for the summer term (May–August)
Has reliable transportation to our office and occasional client sites
Genuinely curious about technology and motivated to learn—experience level matters less than attitude
